How, what, when, where and why

How: Sorry, there is no ‘how’ unless you want to know how I payed for stuff with a credit card…
What: The name ‘WrongDecade’ is pretty fitting considering my love of past eras has made me feel as though I was born in the wrong decade at time. Though I am a thoroughly modern woman, I assure you! :p
When: I bought the hosting in July, 2008 and the domain is September, 2008.
Where: Surnaturelle, a most excellent web hosting service.
Why: I was over my old domain, prettybloomers.com, and felt like a fresh start would be a good idea.

Once upon a time in a land not so far off…

It all started when I began learning basic HTML in about 2003 so I could customise my diary at Diaryland.com. This sparked a huge interest and by mid-2004 I had my own domain, prettybloomers.com.

Ever since then I’ve been slowly plucking away, mainly learning the graphic, HTML and CSS design aspects, as opposed to languages like PHP and Javascript. I’ve always been creative so working with Photoshop, writing CSS and XHTML is about as good as extra-dark chocolate (at least 75% cocoa, please), to me. Over time though, I’ve picked up bits of PHP, which I plan on learning properly starting one of these days.
