Today my mum and I bought a tree and I decorated it using our new decorations. We had to buy new ones because we can’t find our usual ones (they’re packed away somewhere).

It’s not really shopping if you don’t have money
This weekend was a fairly busy one, actually. On Saturday I met a friend I’d known online for about six years for the first time. She’s in New Zealand for an internship until mid-2009 and lives in the city, so hopefully we’ll get to hang out again soon. I had a lovely time. That night… Read more »
Where does the stuff come from?
I’m sitting in my room/shed with the door wide open, tonnes of light coming in through my windows, The Coasters’ ‘Along Came Jones’ playing, and a bourbon and coke on the go. Honestly, I don’t normally like bourbon, but it’s ok and very cold, which is needed post Afternoon of Sorting My Room Out. How… Read more »
Ranty McRant
Sorry about ‘Mc’ing my post titles. I ‘Mc’ when I’m annoyed, plus I’ve been reading way too much of Lainey’s Entertainment Update, which is McAwesome celebrity gossip. Because even I stoop to enjoying it. Also, she’s not as McAssholey as many other gossip bloggers. So, on to my ranting, I guess. My allergies are playing… Read more »

I’ve finally got my laptop hooked up to my sister’s wireless network, so now I can come and go as I please, online-wise. I haven’t seen how far the wireless coverage goes around the property, but if I can sit in the car or the shed outside her house that’ll be cool. Finally getting to… Read more »
I’m Home

Last Night
Tonight is the last night in this house. I’m not really sure how I feel about it; I’ve always been a sentimental person and sometimes the most random things set me off onto a nostalgic journey of epic proportions. I suppose this journey is bittersweet because, although I didn’t enjoy much of my time in… Read more »
Who’s got an energy drink?
Note: I wrote this yesterday but forgot to publish it to the blog, so you’re getting it now. I’m feeling decidedly unmotivated today, which presents problems as I need to finish packing my belongings up this weekend and want to help my mum with stuff as well. We move on the 19th so it would… Read more »
All At Once
Oh, well, lemme see, what have I been up to? On Monday I handed in my last assignment so I’m done with my course now. There are no exams or anything, so it really is done. Next year in the first semester I need to take another course in order to achieve the certificate I… Read more »
Some Like It Hot
Today my parents I went to the Gypsy Fair, which is a fair put on by a much of “gypsies”, as they travel the country is gypsy-styles motor homes. They all sell things, from clothing to soaps to wood products to fortune telling. I’ve always enjoyed going and, as I missed it last year, was… Read more »
