This afternoon my mum found this baby rabbit after it had been somewhat caught by one of our cats (Lola — Molly doesn’t know how to hunt rabbits). He/She had a bit of a scare and is currently recovering in a box until positively fit enough to go back into the wild. At this size, it should be weaned from its mother by now, so that’s fortunate in terms of our being able to look after him or her.

I’m not sure; my mum could have water droplets on her arm anyway, but she did say that Buns looked like it had watery eyes.
